People Run From Fiery Explosion Near London Railway Station

Six people were injured and three commercial units, six cars, and a telephone box were engulfed in flames near the Elephant and Castle rail station in south London on June 28, the London Fire Brigade said.

This footage, captured by Megan Jearum, shows dark gray smoke billowing into the sky before fire explodes from the railway arches near the station.

The London Fire Brigade said 15 engines and 100 firefighters responded to the blaze. Some area roads were still closed at the time of writing, though the fire was under control, the fire brigade said. Credit: Megan Jearum via Storyful
