"After long thought I have decided to go into the portal again," Miller wrote on social media. "It is never ever easy making these decisions but I feel it's best for my family and I as I try to be the best me possible! Where to next?”

Miller played this season at LSU under first-year coach Matt McMahon, who came to Baton Rouge from Murray State. Miller's previous coach at LSU, Will Wade, is now at McNeese State. Wade was fired from LSU after allegations of improper recruiting and inducement tactics.

"I've had the most fun in my life while at LSU! While becoming a better man and student-athlete in Baton Rouge, I made bonds with staff, fellow students, and fellow athletes," Miller wrote. "Thank you to Coach (Matt) McMahon and staff! I am very grateful to be able to play for and battle with you guys through the season. Thank you to my teammates who I shared blood, sweat, and tears with. A last and tremendous thank you to my Tiger family. The time I spent here will last with me forever as I will always bleed Purple and Gold!"
