Person in custody for questioning after human leg found at popular park in Wisconsin

CUDAHY, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin have taken a person of interest into custody and are investigating an incident where a human leg was found at a popular park as a homicide.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies obtained a search warrant on Thursday and converged on a residence on Milwaukee’s south side, in the area of South 39th Street and West Oklahoma Avenue.

Officials say they have taken a person of interest into custody for questioning. This person could be in connection to the severed human leg that was found on Tuesday, April 2, at Warnimont Park in the city of Cudahy.

The severed leg was found east of the Warnimont Golf Course by the pump house, and authorities continue to investigate the incident.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with credible information related to this incident to contact deputies immediately.
