Man dead after shooting at St. Petersburg apartment complex

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — St. Petersburg police officers investigated a deadly shooting at an apartment complex early Friday.

Officers were called to the Citrus Grove Apartments on 15th Street South on Thursday just before midnight after gunshots were heard in the parking lot.

Around 1:30 a.m., officers said they learned that someone dropped 18-year-old Taiwan Gland off at a hospital with a gunshot wound. He died from his injuries. Police said Gland was hurt in the parking lot shooting.

Police didn’t say if they were looking for a suspect or if one was in custody.
