Person flown to hospital after shooting in Bennettsville, police say

BENNETTSVILLE, S.C. (WBTW) — One person was flown to the hospital Sunday evening after being shot multiple times in Bennettsville, police said.

Police responded shortly before 8 p.m. to the Shady Rest community, according to Lt. Shawn Lucas with the Bennettsville Police Department. No information was immediately available about the victim’s condition or what led to the shooting.
