Person killed in crash on I-95 in Prince William County

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Virginia State Police (VSP) responded to a deadly crash in Prince William County on Wednesday afternoon.

VSP initially responded at about 4:22 p.m. to the crash, which was in the northbound lanes of I-95 near Exit 158. A spokesperson said that one person died.

VSP’s Fairfax Division Crash Reconstruction Team is helping with the ongoing crash investigation.

As of 5 p.m., the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination Program said all regular travel lanes were still blocked, with traffic getting by using the left shoulder. Delays in the northbound lane span about four and a half miles.
