In-person Medicare enrollment advice scheduled for Bedford, Mitchell

The Medicare Annual Enrollment period is Oct. 15 to Dec. 7. During this time you can have your Part D Plans, Advantage Plans reviewed and make any changes, as well as ask questions about your Medicare.

Indiana State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) counselors will be hosting Plan Finder events with free impartial help with comparing plans for 2024.

State Certified SHIP Counselors will be at the following locations:

  • Oct. 26 from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Bedford Senior Center, 2205 Washington Ave., Bedford.

  • Oct. 31 from 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Stone Cutters Apts., 1023 16th St., Bedford.

  • Nov. 6 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The Solutions (Living Well), 1490 Main St., Mitchell.

  • Nov. 9 from 9:30 a.m.-11 a.m. 1150 Camelot Courts, Mitchell.

  • Nov. 9 from 11:10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. 1160 Camelot Courts, Mitchell.

  • Nov. 9 from 1:30 p.m.-3 p.m. 1170 Camelot Courts, Mitchell.

  • Nov. 16 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Cambridge Square 2020 Plaza Drive, Building 3, Bedford.

SHIP is a free and impartial counseling program for people with Medicare. SHIP is provided by the Administration on Community Living and the Indiana Department of Insurance.
