”My stepdad jumped up and went to go see what was happening and a man shot him and took off,” said Sade Love, the victim’s stepdaughter. “It just scared us. It gave us all a scare.”

Moments later, the family said the shooter was seen walking away.

Love said they believe Howes’s childhood friend shot him because of an alleged affair.

At last check, Howes is in stable condition.

Right now, Allegheny County Police are investigating and looking for the gunman.

”I don’t think it’s right for anybody to be in their home and to get shot for something they did not do,” said Love.
