Penfield man struck, killed by train in Macedon identified

Macedon police have identified the man who was killed Thursday when he was struck by a train in Wayne County.

Gregory Harrison, 51, of Penfield died at the scene, said Macedon Police Chief Fabian Rivera. The incident occurred at the Wayneport Road railroad crossing in Macedon at 12:40 p.m. Rivera said that officers are investigating the circumstances of the collision.

A portion of Wayneport Road was closed during the investigation.
