Mexico corrido singer Peso Pluma is heading out on his first U.S. tour this summer. And he's bringing the Double P tour to El Paso.

The singer, who performed on "The Tonight Show" recently, will perform Aug. 4 at the El Paso County Coliseum. The show will start at 8 p.m.

“It has always been a dream of mine ‒ and the whole Peso Pluma family ‒ to go on tour in the U.S. and I definitely didn’t expect it to happen so soon,” he told Rolling Stone magazine. “But I am looking forward to connecting with my fans in every city and getting to experience every moment of this with them.”

Peso Pluma arrives at the Latin American Music Awards on April 20 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The Guadalajara-born singer, whose real name is Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija, said he will be sharing some new music as well as celebrating his past releases: 2022's "Sembrando" and the 2021 album, "Efectos Secundarios."

He first landed on the Billboard chart with “El Belicón” and then went on to chart five additional Hot Latin songs: “Ella Baila Sola” with Eslabon Armando, “Siempre Pendientes” with Luis R Conriquez, “El Gavilán” with Conriquez and Tony Aguirre, “Igualito A Mi Apá” with Fuerza Regida, and “AMG” with Gabito Ballesteros and Natanael Cano.
