Peso Pluma returns to Fresno with a solo performance this fall. Tickets on sale this week

Globally recognized Mexican artist Peso Pluma returns to Fresno this fall with his 2024 tour ‘Exodo,’ which includes more than 35 shows in the United States and Canada in partnership with Live Nation.

Peso Pluma will perform for the first time at the Save Mart Center on Sept. 7. Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 23 at noon at the arena box office or ticketmaster.com. Presale tickets start on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at noon.

“We are very excited to announce that Grammy Award winner Peso Pluma is coming to the Save Mart Center,” said Mitzi Evans, regional director of sales and marketing for the arena.

It’s not the first time Peso Pluma, who won a Grammy for Best Música Mexicana Album (Including Tejano), for his album Génesis earlier this month, has been in Fresno.

He performed in March 2023 as part of a lineup of artists at a music festival held at Chuckchansi Park before Peso Pluma hit No. 1 on the Spotify Global Top Songs chart. Or before he performed on ‘”The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” making him the first Mexican artist to perform on the late-night show.

The 24-year-old is considered the reigning king of corridos tumbados, a modern version of traditional Mexican music, which has found great success over the last couple of years.

Peso Pluma sings and raps in a fashion indebted to contemporary hip-hop and reggaeton over production that holds close to traditional forms.

Besides Fresno, Peso Pluma will perform in San Francisco (Aug. 27) at Chase Center, San José (Aug. 28) at SAP Center, Palm Desert (Sept. 3) at Acrisure Arena and San Diego (Sept. 17) at Pechanga Arena.
