Luke is a 6 1/2 year old Beagle looking for a new home.

Luke is a 6½ year old Beagle weighing 43 pounds. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender due to no longer being able to care for him. He is a lover boy, he wants all the attention, all of the time. He is a happy dog here at the kennel and is happiest when with his person; he may have separation anxiety.

Luke is all things Beagle, especially howling, sniffing and howling. He enjoys walks and does well on a leash. His favorites are car rides and playing with his ball. He is very much housebroken and is treat motivated. Luke is on a special diet of weight management food to help in his weight loss journey, along with regular exercise.

His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $20.75.

Visit the shelter to meet him, from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday

The Humane Society of Sandusky County, is at 1315 N. River Road, Fremont. For more information call 419-334-4517 or visit humanesanduskyco.org.
