Pete Davidson, O’Shea Jackson Jr. tapped to star in after-market sneaker biz-based flick ‘American Sole'

Pete Davidson has another movie in the pipeline.

The “Saturday Night Live” star, fresh off of the Judd Apatow-directed semi-autobiographic “The King of Staten Island,” has been tapped to co-star with O’Shea Jackson Jr. in the Kevin Hart-produced dramatic comedy “American Sole.”

The film is about how a pair of twentysomethings tap into the profitable business of after-market sneaker resale to pay off mountains of college debt. When they run out of money and find that a shady investor is their only way out, their urban American dream turns into a nightmare.

On Thursday, Deadline reported that “Riverdale” actress Camilla Mendes will play Jess, the girlfriend of Davidson’s character in the movie.
