Peter Andre has revealed he is keen to have another baby - but time is running out.

The 47-year-old singer and TV presenter - who is father to six-year-old Amelia and three-year-old Theo with wife Emily as well as Junior, 14, and Princess, 12, from his marriage to Katie Price - has said he doesn’t want to be changing nappies when he is 50.

Andre told The Sun: “A baby would be amazing. We keep saying yes, we keep saying no. I think maybe!

“We have discussions all the time. I said to Emily, ‘If you want another one then we have to start trying now.

“I’m 47 and I don’t want to be changing nappies at 50 because I’ve done it so many times over the last 15 years.’

“This is my last year that I would be willing to try, because then I’m over the nanny stage for good.”

Wife Emily, 30, is an NHS doctor who has been working on the frontline throughout the coronavirus crisis, while Andre has been homeschooling and caring for his four children during lockdown.

Andre has been married to Emily for almost five years and in July they will mark the 10th anniversary of the day they first met.

He said: “We can’t go away at the moment like I planned but we’ll celebrate somehow. Hey, maybe I could mention another baby - it’s a reasonable excuse, right?”

Andre recently shared the measures Emily must take before she can interact with her children after a shift at the hospital in order to limit the spread of the coronavirus.

He told Loose Women: "I don't tell the kids she's home because if I hear the door and they know that she's home they're going to run up to her.

"She takes off all her clothes she has to put them in the washing machine, wrap a towel around her, get upstairs, have a shower, completely disinfect herself.”
