Peter Gabriel to perform on October 14 at Acrisure Arena

Former Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel is expanding the North American leg of his anticipated "i/o" tour and will be performing on Oct. 14 at Acrisure Arena.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday at ticketmaster.com. Members of Gabriel's fan club will have access to a presale on Tuesday and Citi cardholders can purchase tickets from 10 a.m., Wednesday through 6 p.m., Thursday.

Fans can expect Gabriel to perform material from his upcoming album "i/o" and many hits such as "Sledgehammer," "In Your Eyes" and more. He will be joined by his band featuring Tony Levin, David Rhodes and Manu Katché.

This is Gabriel's first tour since 2016 when he joined former The Police frontman Sting on a co-headlining trek.

Gabriel co-founded Genesis in 1967 and the band is considered to be one of the pioneering forces of progressive rock, influencing musicians such as Queen guitarist Brian May, Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson and Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris. He left in 1975 and recorded 11 studio albums and several live recordings. Genesis continued on and replaced Gabriel with vocalist and drummer Phil Collins.

In 2021, Genesis embarked on what the band said would be its final tour through the following the year. Collins performed seated on stage, the result of debilitating nerve damage that affects his hands and back while his son Nicolas played drums.
