The appeal itself states that "most developed countries do not have bans on pornographic activities."

"In Ukraine, this law was adopted with international comments that it violates freedom of speech,” the petition reads.

“In addition, this law does not make any sense, because anyone who wants to act in porn can go abroad and boost the economy of other countries.”

The petition also states that "the law itself is very generalized and gives room for different interpretations."

The author of the appeal notes that the law "poorly explains where eroticism is art, and where eroticism is porn."

"There was a huge number of cases when girls were convicted specifically for eroticism using the pornography articles of the law," the petition says.
