Petoskey chamber to recognize leaders with annual Celebration of Champions event

PETOSKEY — The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce will once again celebrate community leaders at the 31st annual Celebration of Champions event 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.

The event recognizes businesses and individuals doing exceptional things in the Petoskey community. The chamber will be partnering with local restaurants like Maple and Batter, Beacon Bistro, Vintage Chophouse and Wine Bar and others to provide food.

“It's always important to showcase those businesses who are going above and beyond, those individuals who really stand out and really make Petoskey what it is,” Chamber Events and Program Coordinator Emily Stuchell said. “It's so important for people who do those exceptional things to be celebrated and for the community to come and cheer them on.”

Awards presented at the ceremony include the Chairman’s Award, Athena Award, Thriving Petoskey Award, Service Excellence Award, Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Ambassador of the Year Award, Ron Foeller Community Enthusiast, Architectural Awards.

  • Service Excellence Award: Northern Copy Express

  • Ron Foeller Community Enthusiast Award: Brian Wagner

  • Ambassador of the Year: Regina Patton, Citizens National Bank
