Black Friday is here, but rather than shop till you drop - lots of cash - why not treat yourself to the gift of everlasting love? There may be only a few things in the world that Amazon can’t deliver, and the priceless love of a pet is one of them. Luckily, the Burlington County Animal Shelter is well-stocked with sweet and loving pets, like Liz and Messiah.
Liz is a beautiful girl with a snow-white coat and pair of grey smudged eyebrows. According to her wishlist, Liz is hoping to test out some new eyebrow pencils at Sephora’s Black Friday sale so she will look her best when her new forever family comes calling.
Liz is interested in also checking out the new ‘green’ beauty lines, as she is an eco-friendly cat. That must be why she took up residence behind a recycling bin. But the sustainable lifestyle wasn’t sustainable for Liz, who was all alone and struggling to survive. Liz is a refined beauty, just like Liz Taylor, with the personality to match.
Calm and quiet, Liz is a friendly and curious girl who is interested in meeting new people and trying new things. Liz loves being petted and is as soft and fluffy as a cloud. She is a well-rounded gal who also enjoys playing with toys and indulging in treats.

At the top of Messiah’s Black Friday shopping list is a snazzy new sweater to show off at his new family’s holiday parties. But clothes shopping isn’t so easy when you’re a big guy. And, tipping the scales at 107 pounds, Messiah is a very big guy! He’s hoping that the new ‘Clifford, the Big Red Dog’ movie will usher in a big-dog renaissance.
While Messiah lacks Clifford’s extreme bulk, he certainly isn’t short on heart. Seven-year-old Messiah is very sweet and loving, with a bit of a shy side. He likes to take things slow, but once Messiah warms up to you, you’ll have a new best friend. Messiah would like to be the only pet in his new home, but he’ll happily soak up all your love and attention.
Messiah may be a big dude, but all he wants to be is your special little guy.
