PFF gives Vikings a B+ grade for draft efforts

The Vikings were busy over the weekend, addressing both the offensive line and potentially drafting their quarterback of the future.

Of course, we don’t know how these picks will pan out quite yet, but so far, experts seem pleased with what Rick Spielman and the Vikings were able to do.

The experts over at Pro Football Focus gave the Vikings a B+ grade for their efforts.

Here’s a snippet of what was written about the Vikings’ first-round pick, tackle Christian Darrisaw:

Trading back from No. 14 and still securing Christian Darrisaw — a top-15 prospect on PFF’s Big Board — is a massive win for Minnesota. Darrisaw is fresh off a season in which he recorded the second-best single-season PFF grade by a Power Five offensive tackle in the PFF College era. He oozes power and plays with the physicality that NFL scouts and coaches dream of.

To round out the NFC North, the Bears received an A+, the Lions received an A- and the Packers received a C-.
