The Miu Miu Spring-Summer 2015 collection was unveiled Wednesday at the Palais d'Iena in Paris.
The line unveiled on the final day of Paris Fashion Week is both chic and youthful. Youthful thanks to the colors chosen (light pink, white, peach, sky blue...), the energetic floral prints and plaids, and the tailoring: there are lots of crop tops, skirts hemmed just above the knee, and ruffles. Chic thanks to the materials -- leather, brocade, tweed, fur collars, and lace placed delicately on top of pants and coats.
The young spirit carries over to the footwear, which is often adorned with oversized bows. The Miu Miu girl dares to wear high platforms, as well as surprising boots resembling leather or suede socks. As seen elsewhere this fashion month, the handbags are small, indicating that fashionistas will carry only the essentials next season.
