3:30 p.m.: Let's summarize the day so far:

Will Zalatoris leads at 14-under. Sepp Straka is at 13-under.

Lucas Glover is in the clubhouse at 12-under, and both Brian Harman and Tony Finau head to the 18th at 12-under. Trey Mullinax is at 12-under thru 12.

3:25 p.m.: J.J. Spaun is really struggling, now back to 9-under and drove his tee shot into the water on the 12th hole.

Tony Finau's birdie attempt on the 17th hole is just to the right. He'll go to the final hole at 12-under, two shots back.

Brian Harman in trouble on the 17th and has a lengthy par putt just on the green. The uphill putt goes long and right of the hole. He'll also be at 12-under heading to the 18th.

3:15 p.m.: Can't fault Lucas Glover for giving his long birdie putt a go on the 18th hole green. But it slides well past, and he'll have to stomach a three-putt bogey on the final hole.

Glover is now at 12-under par, two shots behind Will Zalatoris, whose tee shot on hole No. 12 is well right. Sepp Straka birdied the 10th hole and is one shot back at 13-under. Brian Harman birded the par-5 16th and is a shot behind Zalatoris.

2:35 p.m.: J.J. Spaun bogeys No. 7 like Zalatoris. Brian Harman birdies the 13th hole to draw even with Zalatoris but has a tricky bunker shot on hole No. 14. Jon Rahm, by the way, is at 11-under. He's on the last hole, but a good effort from the Spaniard.

2:20 p.m.: First mistake of the day leads Will Zalatoris to bogey hole No. 7. Zalatoris and Spaun now tied for the lead at 13-under.

Adam Scott is on the 18th hole at 12-under after a 5-under round thru 17. Brian Harman's back-to-back birdies on hole Nos. 10 and 11 push him to 12-under.

1:40 p.m.: Will Zalatoris has birdies on Hole Nos. 1, 2 and 3 and now leads by two shots at 14-under. J.J. Spaun and Sepp Straka both bogey the par-5 3rd hole.

BREAKING: Cameron Smith penalized two strokes for improper ball placement in Saturday's round

11:50 a.m.: A final round with a tight leaderboard promises to be eventful. Denny McCarthy is already putting his best foot forward by recording birdies on his first three holes. He's 11-under.

There will be a lot of talk about the FedEx Cup playoffs cutoff of 70 following the day's play. Lee Hodges is making his best push, going 5-under thru 15 holes and 9-under for the tournament. He'll probably need another birdie or two to secure his spot in next week's BMW Championship. Hodges is currently tied for 9th but certain to slip lower as the leaders take to the course.
