PGA Tour in Mississippi: Sanderson Farms Championship Friday live updates, highlights

Davis Riley took a first-round lead in his home state tournament on Thursday with a bogey-free 6-under 66 in the Sanderson Farms Championship at the Country Club of Jackson.

Riley, who plays early Friday, is in pursuit of his first PGA Tour victory. Riley's successful rookie season included a runner-up finish after a playoff to eventual winner Sam Burns at the Valspar Championship in March.

A large group of players sit at 5-under, including President's Cup International team member Christiaan Bezuidenhout.
