What I'm Hearing: Golfweek's Steve DiMeglio is on the road covering the PGA Tour and relays the emotions felt by players in the aftermath of Tiger Wood's automobile crash.
STEVE DIMEGLIO: I'm here at the concession golf club in Bradenton, Florida for the World Golf Championships workday championship at the concession. Justin Thomas, who has become a very good friend of Tiger Woods, he teared up. He was very emotional. He's hoping for the best for Tiger and hoping for the best for his two kids.
John Rahm talked about, hasn't Tiger's body been through enough? And the mood has soured. It's soured. Definitely soured. And I think it might have perked up just a hair as we got word late Tuesday night that he was responsive, he was awake, he was recovering after the surgeries. And so at least that's good, and so now everybody's in a waiting game.
