Philadelphia Eagles coach Nick Sirianni had a message for Chiefs fans as he was leaving GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium after the Eagles’ 21-17 victory on Monday Night Football.

“Hey! I don’t hear (expletive) anymore, Chiefs fans! See yaaaa,” Sirianni yelled as he entered the tunnel toward the locker room.

Sirianni was obviously elated with the outcome, a game in which the Eagles overcame a 17-7 halftime deficit to claim their NFL-best ninth victory in 10 games.

The Eagles also got a measure of revenge against the Chiefs, who defeated Philadelphia in the most recent Super Bowl.

Another sweetener for Sirianni: He’s a former Chiefs assistant, arriving in Kansas City in 2009 as an offensive quality control coach under Todd Haley. Sirianni became the wide receivers coach when Romeo Crennel replaced Haley in 2011. It was while Sirianni was living in Kansas City that he met his wife, Brett.

Andy Reid didn’t retain Sirianni when he was named the coach after the 2012 season.

The Chiefs will return to action on Sunday, Nov. 26, when they face the Las Vegas Raiders in a road AFC West matchup. Kickoff for Sunday’s game is set for 3:25 p.m. Central at Allegiant Stadium.
