May 13—New coach Nick Sirianni and the Philadelphia Eagles will open the 2021 season at Atlanta on Sept. 12, then make their home debut at Lincoln Financial Field a week later against the San Francisco 49ers.

The NFL released its schedule Wednesday, which includes 17 regular season games for the first time.

The Eagles have eight home games and nine road games in the upcoming season. They will have nine home games in 2022.

Among the highlights for the Birds are a pair of prime time games, a visit from former coach Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs and the first trip to Las Vegas in franchise history.

The Eagles will play at the Dallas Cowboys on "Monday Night Football" on Sept. 27. They will host Tom Brady and the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers on "Thursday Night Football" on Oct. 14.

Reid brings quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to Lincoln Financial Field on Oct. 3.

Philadelphia will make the trip to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders on Oct. 24. The Raiders will be in their second season in Nevada after moving from Oakland.

Following the bye in Week 15, the Eagles close the season with four straight NFC East games, three of them at home.

Philadelphia hosts the Washington Football Team on either Dec. 18 or Dec. 19, then plays at home against the New York Giants on Dec. 26. Following a trip to Washington on Jan. 2, the Eagles end the regular season at home against Dallas on Jan. 9.
