Teddy Ricketson writes: "The Eagles let Jalen Hurts go to work and control the clock and they reaped the rewards last week. They seem to have bought in that they aren’t going to be a passing team as Hurts threw for 147 total yards, but carries the ball 18 times for 69 yards and three touchdowns in their win. The Giants offense haven’t been able to play many full games together, but the Giants defense is built to shut down the pass which won’t get them very far this week. Hurts should be able to have his way with this defense on the ground so expect another big week from the Eagles in the NFC East matchup."

SB Nation: Eagles should be big favorites over Giants in Week 12
Brandon Lee Gowton writes: "Want it all they might, the Giants might not have what it takes to pull off the upset. The Eagles just had their way with the NFL’s top-ranked run defense. The Giants rank much worse in this regard, tied for 24th in opponent yards per rushing attempt. And for as much as Philly’s defense has mightily struggled against the league’s better quarterbacks, they’ve consistently dispatched the lesser ones. It’s safe to say Daniel Jones fits in the latter category. Not to mention New York will be operating on short rest."

Tyler Sullivan writes: "Any significant movement will be reserved for after New York's matchup with the Bucs, but the Eagles have opened as a 3.5-point road favorite against their NFC East rival. Philly is coming off a dominating win over the Saints where Jalen Hurts rushed for three touchdowns. Despite sitting under .500 on the season, the Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last seven games. That said, their poor ATS record against NFC East (2-5 in last seven games) will be put to the test here."
