Philly's Einstein Medical Center Needs Your Help: How To Donate

PHILADELPHIA — As the coronavirus outbreak continues in southeastern, hospitals and healthcare facilities will be increasingly challenged to adequately supply workers on the front line. Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia put out a call on Monday asking for donations of specific supplies to help equip healthcare workers to fight back.

Here are some of the items they need:

  • N95 Respirator Masks
  • Face masks (with ties or elastic)
  • Disposable gowns
  • Protective glasses /goggles
  • Gloves
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Regular face shields
  • Bleach or disinfecting wipes

You can arrange a pick up of supplies by calling 215-456-7200, or bring items directly to Einstein Medical in Philadelphia, 5501 Old York Road.

You can also arrange supply pick-ups at Einstein Medical in Elkins Park, 60 Township Line Road, by calling 215-456-7200. For Einstein Medical Center Montgomery drop offs or pickups, call 215-456-7200.

Einstein is also accepting financial contributions here to their "Extraordinary Response in Extraordinary Times campaign."

There are 342 cases of coronavirus in Philadelphia as of Thursday morning. One person in the city has died from the virus.
