CHARLOTTE – Terrence Ross will miss Wednesday’s game at Charlotte with right toe soreness, team officials announced Wednesday morning.

Phoenix signed Ross after Orlando bought him out. He’s averaging 10.7 points on 44.8% shooting in his three games with the Suns (33-29).

A proven scorer who can create off the bounce, Ross scored 16 points in his Suns debut against the Clippers before the All-Star break. He scored a total of 16 points in Phoenix’s two games after the break against Oklahoma City and Milwaukee.

Shooting 29.4% from 3 with the Suns, Ross scored seven points on 3-of-5 shooting in 17 minutes of Sunday’s loss to the Bucks.

The Suns continue their four-game road trip Friday at Chicago and end it Sunday at Dallas.
