Phoenix Suns beat Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of NBA Playoffs series

The Phoenix Suns are one win away from the Western Conference semifinals after a 112-100 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of their first-round NBA Playoffs series on Saturday at Crypto.com Arena.

The Suns' stars shined bright late in Game 4, with Chris Paul stepping up with some big baskets in the final quarter.

The point guard finished with 19 points, nine assists, three steals and three blocks in the game. Phoenix was a game high +21 with him in the lineup.

Kevin Durant had 31 points and 11 rebounds for the Suns, while Devin Booker had 30 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Deandre Ayton added 15 points and 13 rebounds.

The Suns only got nine points from their bench, but got 25 key minutes from Josh Okogie. Bismack Biyombo played 12 minutes, Damion Lee played 14 minutes and Landry Shamet played five.

Durant played 44 minutes for the Suns, while Booker played 41.

Russell Westbrook led the Clippers with 37 points in the game on 17-for-29 shooting.

Like in Game 3, Phoenix had a big advantage from the free-throw line, going 21-for-27. Los Angeles went 8-for-10.

The Suns held a 49-33 rebounding advantage in the game.

Phoenix has won three straight in the series after dropping Game 1.

Game 5 is scheduled for Tuesday night in Phoenix.

Chris Paul delivering for Suns in fourth quarter

Chris Paul is turning back time.

The Suns point guard has exploded in the fourth quarter to help Phoenix extend its lead to 109-96 with 2:40 left in the game.

Paul has 19 points in the game on 8-for-15 shooting. He has some key 3-pointers in this quarter and has 12 points in the frame.

Russell Westbrook keeping Clippers in game vs. Suns

Russell Westbrook has 35 points in the game on 16-for-26 shooting, but the Suns still hold a 102-96 lead in the fourth quarter against the Clippers.

Kevin Durant has 31 points for Phoenix. Devin Booker has 27.

Chris Paul has made some clutch shots for the Suns in this game, and he is up to 14 points in the game. The Suns are +16 with him in the lineup in this game, a game-high. He also has nine assists.

We're through three quarters of Game 4 of the Suns vs. Clippers NBA Playoffs series and the Suns, trying to take a 3-1 lead in the series, hold an 83-78 lead at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Devin Booker and Kevin Durant are leading the charge for the Suns, with 24 points and 26 points, respectively.

Russell Westbook has 23 points for the Clippers.

The Suns outscored the Clippers 35-31 in the third quarter.

Phoenix is now shooting 46% from the field (29-for-63), heating up after an abysmal percentage earlier in the game.

Los Angeles is at 44.3% (31-for-70).

The Clippers are 8-for-8 from the free-throw line, but the Suns are 19-for-25.

Buckle up. It could be a very interesting fourth quarter and the Clippers try to even this series at two games each.

Booker back to scoring ways early in second half vs. Clippers

Devin Booker got off to a scorching start against the Clippers in Game 4. He's at it again in the second half.

Booker now has 21 points in the game on 7-for-16 shooting. He is 6-for-7 from the free-throw line.

After getting off to a slow start in the half, the Suns have now outscored the Clippers, 20-19.

We are just a minute into the second half and the Clippers have outscored the Suns 7-0 to take a 54-48 lead.

Monty Williams called a time out for the Suns. The Clippers are 3-for-3 from the field this half.

Suns take 1-point lead into half vs. Clippers

We're halfway through Game 4 of the Suns vs. Clippers game Saturday and the Suns have a 48-47 lead in Los Angeles.

Phoenix outscored L.A. 25-17 in the second quarter.

The Suns have been led by Kevin Durant, who has 14 points, and Devin Booker, who has 13. Deandre Ayton has 11.

Russell Westbook has 13 points to lead the Clippers.

The Suns shot just 37.8% from the field in the first half. The Clippers weren't much better at 40%.

The Suns have leaned heavily on their starters all series and that hasn't changed in Game 4, with Phoenix's bench only scoring six points.

Durant and Booker did get four minutes of rest each in the first half, however.

A big run has the Suns up 46-42 on the Clippers with 2:13 left in the first half.

Kevin Durant now has a game high 14 points on 3-for-8 shooting, but he is 7-for-8 from the free throw line.

Like in Game 3, the Suns have a big advantage from the line, shooting 12-for-15 on free-throw attempts. The Clippers are 6-for-6.

The Suns have been called for nine fouls. The Clippers have 10.

Kevin Durant picks up third foul for Suns

Kevin Durant just picked up his third foul with 5:35 left in the first half when he was called for fouling Marcus Morris Sr.

No other Suns players more than one foul.

Russell Westbook, Norman Powell and Nicolas Batum each have two fouls for the Clippers.

The Suns have rallied to pull within 36-34 with 6:54 left in the first half.

Devin Booker has been resting on the bench, but Kevin Durant has sparked Phoenix to within a basket of Los Angeles. Durant is up to 10 points in the game.

Let's give some credit to Deandre Ayton, who has nine points on 4-for-8 shooting in the game and six rebounds, four of which have been offensive rebounds.

Suns having abysmal shooting game vs. Clippers

The Suns just can't get much going on offense against the Clippers.

Can Phoenix get something going? Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton have all but two of Phoenix's points.

The Clippers have a 30-23 lead on the Suns at the end of the first quarter of Game 4 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Phoenix had a 16-9 lead early in the quarter, but it was all Los Angeles after that as the Clippers went on a 21-7 run to end the quarter.

Phoenix is just 7-for-25 from the field (28%). That is not going to get the job done.

Los Angeles is 11-for-2.

The Suns need to wake up as the Clippers seem to be playing harder and with more energy in the game.

So, we are not tied up anymore. The Clippers have exploded to go on a 7-0 run and take a 28-21 lead on Phoenix with 55 seconds left in the first quarter.

Los Angeles is on a 12-2 run in the game.

The Clippers seem to have all the energy and momentum right now.

The Suns and Clippers are tied 21-21 with 2:51 left in the first quarter.

The TNT commentators just made a comment about Kevin Durant being hesitant to shoot in the game as he passed up an open look before a Suns turnover.

The Clippers have responded after falling down by seven to the Suns, scoring seven straight to tie the game up, 16-16.

Devin Booker is at it again.

Only three players have score for Phoenix as Deandre Ayton has five points and Kevin Durant has two in the early going.

Booker had 45 points in the Suns' Game 3 victory in Los Angeles.

The Suns are crashing the boards in this game. They have 11 rebounds, seven of which have come on the offensive glass. The Clippers have four rebounds in the game.

The Suns are on a 7-0 run.
