Photo contest opens Jan. 30 in Perrysburg, Ohio

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – The Perrysburg Sculpture Walk Winter Photo Contest begins Monday, Jan. 30, and runs through Feb. 28.

For the second year, entrants can take winter-inspired photos of sculptures in Woodlands Park for a chance to win prizes. Photographers of all skill levels can enter.

The 17 interactive, kid-friendly sculptures are along the entryway and perimeter of Woodlands Park, 429 E. Boundary St.

"These sculptures are part of a year-long exhibit, and the Sculpture Walk Winter Photo Contest encourages visitors to get outside, stroll the exhibit, snap some photos and enter to win prizes," contest organizers said.

Kohne Camera & The Print Refinery in Perrysburg will provide a $100 gift certificate to the first-place photo. A juried panel will choose the winner, to be announced March 7. Additional runners-up will be awarded smaller prizes as well.

"We love this opportunity for guests to visit Perrysburg, enjoy the sculptures in a different season and capturememories they’ll share and potentially win a prize," Christine Best from the contest said.

Entrants can email up to three high-resolution images to Best at cbest@visitperrysburg.com. "Photo Contest" should be in email subject line. Entrants should include their name and any information they'd like the panel to know about the photograph.
