For fans of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, the coming weeks offer a bounty of never-before-seen images thanks to the British royals’ longest-serving official photographer and his two sons.

Diana, arguably “the most photographed human in history,” was captured on film first by royal photographer Anwar Hussein and later, his sons Samir and Zak, as they joined the family business, according to a description of an upcoming exhibit of their work centered on the princess and her untold stories.

Tickets for a new exhibit, Princess Diana Exhibition: Accredited Access, opening early next year will go on sale Wednesday at noon, at an as-yet-undisclosed location, the organizers said Tuesday.

The exhibit will occur in New York City in January.

The three photographers will share collections of their original images never before revealed to the public, over four decades spent working side-by-side with the Princess and her family in both public and private moments.

“This exhibition will be told from their perspective: what they heard, what they saw, what they witnessed firsthand will all be shared,” the organizers, SBX Group and Fever, said in a statement. “This is not a story you have heard before. Whether you are a hard-core fan or new to her legacy, you will be blown away by the fascinating depth and detail shared by the Hussein family.”

Eight “tailored themes” will bring viewers to the “most iconic moments” of Diana’s short life, from intimate family photographs to “larger-than-life images, murals and bespoke art,” the organizers promise. The Photography Dark Room, Growing, Glam, Hats & Tiaras, Art Installations, Working Royals, Humanitarian and Unguarded will be narrated by Hussein, and multimedia artist Pauline Loctin will provide art installations inspired by moments in the princess’s life.

“Many times, these stories can be even more intriguing than the photo itself,” Hussein told Variety. “This exhibit allows my sons and I to take you through an extraordinary look at one of the most famous and influential women of all time. We strongly believe that the stories behind the photos will transport each guest back in time and immerse them in Princess Diana’s story like never before.”

The Princess of Wales died in August 1997 at age 36 in a car crash while fleeing paparazzi in a Paris tunnel. Boyfriend Dodi Fayed and driver Henri Paul also died, while bodyguard Trevor Rees-Jones survived.

Fans who can’t get enough of all things Diana have seen her portrayed on “The Crown,” or caught the Broadway show, “Diana: The Musical,” and come November can flock to movie theaters for “Spencer,” starring Kristen Stewart and focusing on the princess’s decision to leave Prince Charles back in 1991.

“Princess Diana always told me that she liked to show her personality through her love for people and her strong sense of fashion,” Hussein told Variety. “As a photographer, you get the unique opportunity to know the subject on a personal level. There is a story behind each photo in this exhibition — what’s happening at that moment, the conversations held with its subject, or how that image was captured.”
