Russian invaders continue to shell houses in Luhansk Oblast.

Civilians of the city are continuing to come under fire from the Russian military. In the video, Ukrainian soldiers help a woman who was injured in an attack by the Russian military.

“There is no doubt that for any reasonable person, it is obvious that (the Russian attack) is not help for the residents of Donbas, but simply the extermination of its residents,” Kazanskyi wrote on his Telegram messenger channel.

After a failed operation to seize Kyiv and then the retreat of its troops from Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy oblasts, Russian forces concentrated on fighting for the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, which were under Ukrainian governmental control before the full-scale Russian invasion.

Now heavy fighting continues for Severodonetsk. Russian forces have destroyed the second bridge between the regional center and Lysychansk, and they are now heavily shelling the third one, the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Hayday said on June 12.

According to him, in the coming days the Russians could thrown in all of the reserves into battle to capture Severodonetsk, “to cut it completely and control the Lysychansk – Bakhmut road.”

Thirty people were evacuated from Luhansk Oblast on June 11, Hayday said. Despite the heavy shelling of Lysychansk, humanitarian aid has been delivered to the city, he added.
