The Tennessee Volunteers defeated the Duke Blue Devils 65-52 in the second round, Saturday afternoon, March 18, 2023.
The game shaped up early as a physical battle of big men as the Devils’ Kyle Filipowski battled the Vols’ Uros Plavsic in the paint. Filipowski went out with a deep cut below his left eye early in the game, but returned before the midpoint of the half.
