An estimated 8,000 people packed Sundance Square plaza on Wednesday for the 77th annual lighting of the community Christmas tree. Marie Osmond entertained the crowed before she was joined by Mayor Mattie Parker to count down the lighting of the 80-foot Norway spruce, believed to be the tallest live Christmas tree in Texas.
