A queen has been crowned, opening ceremonies have taken place and the tents are full: The Centre County Grange Encampment and Fair is officially underway.
After opening ceremonies on Thursday, the first official day of the fair was Friday, and it kicked off with the Health Walk, with The Oak Ridge Boys set to take the grandstand stage at 8 p.m.
The fair continues Saturday, and each day through Aug. 26. Some of the events on tap for Saturday include the 10 a.m. Farm Tractor Pull, 2:30 p.m. Dairy Goat Show, 7:30 p.m. Barnyard Olympics and 8 p.m. grandstand performance by Alex Miller and HunterGirl.
Daily admission costs $8, while weekly admission passes are available for $25. Children 11 years old and younger receive free admission.
