PHOTOS: Middle TN, Southern KY prepare for wintry mix following snow
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Several days after snow fell across Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky, another round of wintry precipitation is expected to hit the region.
A wintry mix is bringing a combination of rain, sleet, freezing rain, and snow to the area. While it may start as some snow showers, freezing rain is the biggest concern since it will lead to icy roads and travel hazards.
TN Winter Storm: Wintry mix expected across Middle Tennessee with ice accumulation likely
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for all of Middle Tennessee through 9 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19. Meanwhile, a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for Southern Kentucky through 6 p.m. Friday.
