PHOTOS: Parts of Saskatchewan see flooding rains, hail and a tornado
The final Saturday in May was rather stormy in parts of Saskatchewan, with severe cells prompting tornado warnings for some areas in southern sections.
The storms, which brought heavy rainfall, hail and strong winds, resulted in Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issuing tornado warnings for multiple regions after members of the public reported a twister south of Regina, Sask.
On Sunday, ECCC confirmed a tornado occurred approximately 19 km southeast of Regina. However, there have been no reports of damage at this time, and so the tornado has been given a preliminary rating of EF-0.

The warnings were brief, but photos of it and flooding in Regina, Sask., were posted on social media.
The robust Rex block over Ontario and a series of troughs are to blame for the continuous stormy days in the southern Prairies, finishing up the weekend and beyond.
Saturday’s tornado-warned low continues to track slowly northward across the Saskatchewan and Manitoba border Sunday. Much of the robust energy has diminished, but enough lingers to possibly fuel severe storms.
During optimal daytime heating hours of the afternoon and evening, thunderstorms will be triggered along fronts that are draped across Saskatchewan and Manitoba's border, pushing into the Interlake Region.
The storm risk will continue into Monday for southern Saskatchewan and Manitoba, as well, with parts of Alberta and northwestern Ontario seeing the potential, too.
Below is just a selection of visuals from Saturday evening's storms currently making the rounds on social media.
