  • The royal family celebrated the Queen's birthday at her Trooping the Colour parade on Thursday.

  • Among those who appeared on the balcony were Kate and William, as well as Charles and Camilla.

The Queen and Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, were the first royals to step out onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace.

Later on, the Queen emerged with working royals on the balcony at Buckingham Palace as well as some of the royal grandchildren.

Kate Middleton and Prince William, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, were seen enjoying the Royal Air Force flyover with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

The royal family enjoyed the RAF fly-past, a display featuring 70 military aircraft from across the UK Armed Forces soaring over Buckingham Palace.

At one point, Prince Louis covered his ears as the noisy aircraft flew overhead.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles looked close as he reportedly prepares to take over more royal responsibilities from the Queen.
