Photos: Snow-capped mountains visible across San Diego
SAN DIEGO (FOX5/KUSI) — San Diego’s mountaintops are glistening white after a Winter Storm Warning was issued for mountain communities last week.
The latest winter storm dumped inches of snow in elevated areas across the region, prompting days of school closures in some county districts.
Though the sun has returned to most areas, temperatures have been chilly. Saturday night lows were projected to be in the 20s for some mountain areas, according to the National Weather Service.
