All the Photos from Trooping the Colour 2021
Trooping the Colour—the annual celebration of the Queen's official birth (yes, she has two)—was held in Windsor this weekend. The event, which includes a parade and appearances by members of the royal family, is usually held at Buckingham Palace, where the senior members of the royal family typically gather on the balcony for one of their largest group appearances of the year. The celebration was canceled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic and was modified this year amid ongoing precautions and restrictions.
In addition to being held in Windsor instead of London, Trooping the Colour 2021 wasn't attended by as many members of the royal family (Prince William and Kate Middleton were among those noticeably absent). Still, the Queen stepped out for a public appearance and looked nothing short of gleeful for most of the event. Here are the must-see pictures from Trooping the Colour 2021.
