HORSESHOE BAY, Texas (KXAN) — Hail hammered Horseshoe Bay as a Severe Thunderstorm moved across the area early Tuesday morning.

Horseshoe Bay Assistant Police Chief Jason Graham said a lot of the hail was over an inch in diameter, and there was a lot of damage to roofs, vehicles and some skylights. Most damage was through the center of town, according to Graham.

Graham said it was the worst hail storm since around 2010, but the hail was smaller in size. The department got many calls about the storm, and officers were patrolling for damage mid-morning, Graham said.

Graham also said some tree limbs broke and were on the streets, but crews cleared them.
