Pia Wurtzbach shocked by Olivia Jordan's sexual assault confession

31 May - Pia Wurtzbach recently admitted that she was as surprised as anybody over Miss Universe 2015 alumna Olivia Jordan's recent admission of being a survivor of sexual assault.

As reported on Push, the actress, who spoke about the American beauty's confession, stated that she had no idea about Jordan's past despite their close friendship.

"She never really talked about it during her whole pageant life. She never shared it, so it's really surprising. It really made you realise that it can happen to anyone," she said.

Wurtzbach admitted that she has always assumed that Jordan had the perfect life.

"You really don't know what people are going through. You could be facing the most popular celebrity, the most beautiful, who seems to have no problem at all. But she also has her own past," she said.

In her recent long post in addressing the abortion ban in Alabama, Jordan, who is pro-abortion and pro access to birth control, stated, "I was molested as a child and raped as a teenager. It is through that lens that I view the new policies that govern what happens to a woman's body as a direct assault."
