Pickens County schools will be remote on Wednesday.

It will be an eLearning day for students and instructors but school will not be in-person, according to a statement sent to parents on Tuesday afternoon.

It is the second eLearning day following record snowfall over the weekend.

Most of the power outages have been restored and many main roads are cleared but side roads remain blocked or icy in the mornings in many places.
