Pickup slams into apartment building, injuring occupant: York County Regional Police

A resident of an apartment suffered injuries and was taken to a hospital when a pickup slammed into the building following a crash, according to York County Regional Police.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash Monday night in the area of Lombard Road and Apple Valley Drive in York Township, according to a news release.

Police say the pickup was heading eastbound when it lost control on the wet road and struck another vehicle. After the impact, the truck went off the road and struck the apartment building.

The crash caused damage to the building, the release states.

The wreck is under investigation.
