Reporter and television personality Piers Morgan has signed a global deal with News Corp and Fox News Media, where he will host a new TV show under both brands.

Morgan's new show will launch in early 2022, airing on weeknights in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia. Morgan will also serve as a writer for the New York Post and the Sun, publishing two weekly columns online for the outlets, according to a press release from Fox News.

“I want my global show to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews, and a place that celebrates the right of everyone to have an opinion, and for those opinions to be vigorously examined and challenged," Morgan said in the announcement. “I’m also delighted to become a columnist for the Sun and the New York Post, two brilliantly successful and popular newspaper brands."

Morgan’s new show will be produced and filmed at News UK’s studios in London Bridge. It will air on talkTV in the U.K., FOX Nation in the U.S. and on Sky News Australia.

Morgan said he got his career started with News Corp 30 years ago and that he is excited to return home to build something new with Rubert Murdoch, News Corp's executive chairman. Murdoch was also excited about Morgan's return, saying that he looks forward to expanding Morgan's audience around the world.

“Piers is the broadcaster every channel wants but is too afraid to hire," Murdoch said. "Piers is a brilliant presenter, a talented journalist and says what people are thinking and feeling."

In addition to working on his new show and writing positions with the New York Post and the Sun, Morgan will also be writing a follow-up to his Sunday Times No.1 bestseller, Wake Up. HarperCollins U.K. has signed world rights for the new title and will publish the book in hardback, audio, and digital formats. Charlie Redmayne, the CEO of HarperCollins U.K., shared his enthusiasm for the announcement in the press release.

“There is simply no one better than Piers Morgan at getting people talking and thinking about the key issues affecting society today," Redmayne said. "We are excited to be working with Piers on his eagerly awaited follow up book.”

FOX Nation serves as Fox News's streaming service, selling monthly subscriptions for $5.99 per month. Active military and veterans can redeem a free year of the service.
