Piers Morgan has laid into Prince Harry again, calling him "cowardly" and "outrageously hypocritical", and has also accused Oprah Winfrey of enabling his "unhinged" behaviour.

The former Good Morning Britain host has made no secret of his disdain for Prince Harry's interview with Oprah Winfrey alongside his wife Meghan Markle, and now his new mental health TV series with Winfrey, The Me You Can't See.

Commenting on Prince Harry saying in the TV series that he was exhausted by his royal duties, Morgan tweeted: "Oh FFS. Is there no end to Prince Privacy's victimhood tour? Constantly abusing his family, knowing they can't respond, is so pathetic & cowardly. Man up, Harry - and shut up."

But when one person blasted him for showing a lack of empathy, Morgan hit back by calling the prince's behaviour "appalling".

He tweeted: "What 'empathy' is Harry showing his family as he constantly trashes them in public? It's grotesquely unfair (they can't answer back) outrageously hypocritical, and he's making millions from doing it. THAT'S appalling."

Later on, Morgan also shared his views on chat show host Winfrey, who interviewed Harry and Meghan for their explosive chat about the Royal Family in March and has drawn further revelations from the prince in their new series.

He tweeted: "At what point does Oprah’s hugely lucrative enabling of unhinged Prince Harry’s constant assaults on the Royal Family become ‘problematic’ - and does she care about the damage it may be doing to the mental health of Harry’s relatives, or don’t they count?"

In the first episode of Apple+ series The Me You Can't See, Prince Harry said: "Towards my late 20s everything became really hectic for me, but to the point of exhaustion.

"I was travelling all over the place because, you know, from the family's perspective I guess I was the person who like 'we need someone to go there. Nepal, Harry you go'.

"I was always the yes man, I was always the one willing to say yes. But that yes and yes and yes of course yes yes yes led to burnout."

Morgan left Good Morning Britain in March after a row over his comments on Meghan Markle following her Oprah Winfrey interview and has continued to insist he does not believe many of her claims about life in the Royal Family, labelling her Princess Pinnochio.
