The Pike Bar & Grill in Woodlawn, a longtime karaoke and live music destination, announced that it will be closing after 24 years in business.

A Woodlawn bar and eatery, which during its more than two decades in business has been a destination for karaoke and live music, is shutting its doors for good.

The Pike Bar & Grill's last day in business is Thursday, according to a post on the bar's Facebook page.

It had more than 100 comments as of Tuesday afternoon, with patrons lamenting the establishment's closure and reminiscing on fond memories.

"After 24 years I have met some truly wonderful people that I can say have become family and friends," the post reads. "Thank you to all the people that have supported us through the years. We are truly blessed and grateful to have had a great run!"

It's currently unclear what led to the closure. The bar's owner wasn't immediately available for comment Tuesday afternoon.

The Pike Bar & Grill, at 10010 Springfield Pike, is a 21-and-over establishment that has long been a popular Friday night karaoke spot, with live music on Saturday nights.
