Sep. 24----There will be a buckwheat pancake and sausage supper next Saturday at Hill Church Picnic Grove dining hall, 620 Hill Church Road, Pike Township, dine in or take out, 3-6 p.m. Dinner includes sausage, buckwheat pancakes, home fries, homemade chow chow, homemade applesauce, home baked dessert and beverage. —Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, Barto, will worship on Sunday at 9 a.m. Donations of non-perishable food items will be collected for the Boyertown Area Multi-Service to celebrate Harvest Home.

—St. John's Gernant's Church (A Federated Congregation), 13 Gernant's Church Road, Ontelaunee Township, will worship Sunday at 9:30 a.m. There will be a flute/piano duet by the Rev. Fran Merkel, pastor, and Shirley Breininger ("Bring Back the Springtime"). Musician for the day will be Shirley Breininger. The PLARN group meets on Tuesday from 12:30-2 p.m.to make plastic bags into sleeping mats for homeless people. —Christ Episcopal Church, 435 Court St., Reading, will hold one worship service Sunday at 9 a.m., including Holy Eucharist, followed by a farewell reception for Fr.
