Christmas in July is coming up soon, but how about indulging in a little Thanksgiving fare beforehand? The Poutine Peddlers, 239 Broadway, Taunton, have a Pilgrim Poutine special this month. Their crispy fries are topped with cheese curds, turkey, turkey gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a cranberry aioli. The Poutine Peddlers offer a 10% discount for all police, fire, rescue, and military personnel, as well as veterans. They’re open Tuesday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 6 p.m.

Paint an olive oil container at Mediterranean Bar & Grill

Get ready to show off those artistic skills at Mediterranean Bar & Grill, 983 County St., Taunton. On Tuesday, July 25, at 6 p.m., they’re hosting an event by Create With Kath, where you can paint a glass olive oil container. A step-by-step demonstration will be done, and creativity is welcome. The cost is $35 per person and includes one cocktail. Pay by Venmo, @createwithkath; you will see a ladybug emoji.

Weekly specials at Grove Street Tavern

Check out the weekly specials at Grove Street Tavern, 53 Grove St., Taunton. This week, they’ve got Rocky Point red clam chowder, a tuna melt on Texas toast with red onion and tomatoes, and the Whopper Pizza, with a Whopper-sauce base, charbroiled ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and onions.

Mango Dole whip is back at Star Drive-In

It’s available in a cup, cone, pint, or quart. The Star Drive-In also as a 32-ounce mango and lime Dole whip float: Mango Dole whip, a squeeze of fresh lime, soda water, whipped cream, and a cherry.
