Pilot Project Brewing will host a pop-up Greek food and beer pairing event in their taproom at 1128 N. 9th St. from 5 to 9 p.m. June 22 through June 24. The menu will feature four small plates from the Chicago restaurant group Avli paired with Pilot Project beers. The dishes include Kataifi Prawns wrapped with shredded phyllo, served with spicy aioli; Mini Zucchini Fritters with herbs, feta cheese, and yogurt; Pork Tigania with peppers, honey, white wine and lemon juice; and Mini Chicken Gyro on pita bread with tomato, red onions and tzatziki. The Peach Stop trucks have arrived

The Tree-Ripe Fruit Co. has begun its 2023 Peach Stop truck deliveries to the Milwaukee area, with stops scheduled at farmers markets, business parking lots and pop-up events. The selection of fruits, nuts and berries will vary at each stop, with Georgia peaches available in 4-pound bags for $12; New Mexico pistachios in 1-pound bags for $13; Georgia pecans in 1-pound bags for $13, and Michigan blueberries in 5-pound boxes for $22. Some stops will feature a quarter bushel box of Georgia peaches, approximately 12 pounds, for $30. Upcoming stops include the Oconomowoc Farmers Market at 155 W. Wisconsin Ave. from 8 a.m. to noon June 24, and the Shorewood Farmers Market in Estabrook Park from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 25. Wisconsin Wine & Cheese Train

The Elegant Farmer will host a Wisconsin Wine & Cheese Train July 29 with a 1 p.m. departure from the East Troy Electric Railroad Depot at 1545 Main St., Mukwonago. The two-hour round-trip event will be hosted by wine sommelier Linnea Trampe and Elegant Farmer owner Keith Schmidt. Tickets are $75 and include a charcuterie board, Wisconsin wine and cheese samples, and an individual Elegant Farmer Apple Pie Baked in a Paper Bag.
